about

Hot Ghoul Potions Lab was founded by

chef, artist, and witch Avery out of nearly two decades in food and hospitality, a life spent making art, and a longstanding interest in the rituals and magic of everyday living.

Avery began working in food and beverage as a barista and spent years making her way through nearly every corner of the industry. From kitchens and service to leadership She ultimately fell in love with crafting experiences of her own.

Along the way, food and bev became more than a career. It became another creative medium: a way to play with color and flavor, care for people, tell stories, and turn something ordinary into an experience.

That same curiosity has always extended beyond the kitchen. As an artist and longtime student of spirituality, Avery's work has been shaped by creativity, nature, ritual, food, and community.

Hot Ghoul grew from the desire to bring all of those worlds together.

Part specialty beverage lab and part traveling potion shop, Hot Ghoul approaches drinks with the curiosity of a chef and the imagination of an artist. Our menus play with flavor, color, texture, seasonality, nostalgia, and a bit of the unexpected.

We draw inspiration from everywhere. From gardens and farmers markets to art, folklore, childhood memories, and whatever we're currently obsessed with.

Today, our potion bar travels to markets, pop-ups, weddings, parties, and celebrations, leaving a little fairy dust wherever we land. The menu may change and the experiments certainly will, but the intention remains the same: to make something delicious, beautiful, and memorable, and to leave the world a little more magical than we found it.

our story

our philosophy

We believe food and drink can nourish more than the body.

They can be creative expression, an act of care, a reason to gather, or a tiny ritual in the middle of an otherwise ordinary day. A drink can surprise you, make you laugh, remind you of somewhere you've been, or taste so damn good you immediately hand it to the person next to you.

We approach beverages the way we approach art: with curiosity, experimentation, and respect for the ingredients. We care about what goes into the glass, where inspiration comes from, and how the whole thing makes you feel.

We delight in the strange, sparkly, magical experiences our potions bring.

You don't need to be a witch to believe that life could use a little more wonder and whimsy.

Sometimes magic is simply making something with intention, sharing it with love, and enjoying the hell out of it.
